Intro to Sailing course
Sunday 8 November or Sunday 15 November, 11am to 1pm
A one day course for adults and children. Pick the date that suits you. $20 per person for members, $30 for non-members. Spaces are limited.
Sailing, fishing and good company in Golden Bay
Pōhara Boat Club is the only boat club in the bay. We are run by volunteers and welcome everyone, from complete beginners to old hands.

Sunday Sailing
Every Sunday, October to April, 1pm to 4pm
Open to all members. Have a go, build your skills and enjoy time on the water, with coaching for anyone who wants it.
Memberships for 2026 to 2027 are open
Season runs 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027
Family $65, single $45, social $10.

A club for the whole family
Our members sail, fish and get together. Membership gives you Sunday Sailing through the season, learn to sail courses for juniors, use of the club moorings, fishing competitions and social evenings.
We have a fleet of Optimist dinghies, Open Skiffs, Sunbursts and other small boats, and every sailing session has support boats on the water run by trained volunteers.
